As a doctor I think it is essential for parents to learn first aid skills, so they may act quickly and efficiently to assist their child in the event of an emergency. That is why I arranged for KidzAid to come to my Mother’s Group. My husband and a few other dads also attended. We all found the Vital Aid session to be very informative. The staff were very helpful and approachable. They were flexible, accommodating our needs as a mothers group, with all of our babies present, including a set of twins. They brought two sizes of dummies, and everyone had the opportunity to practice the skills they were taught.
Amazingly, just today my 6 month old caught choked on a piece of fruit offered by a family member. My husband realized what was happening and quickly grabbed her and dislodged the fruit just as KidzAid taught him. He said to me “Well, that course just paid for it’s self!” he told me that he felt confident to act, and was very proud of what he did. I’m happy to recommend KidzAid to any expecting parents, parents, or friends and family who have the pleasure of baby sitting.
Hi there, I just wanted to give a shout out to Caroline who hosted a workshop for our mothers group in Canberra on the weekend. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and understanding when we asked pedantic questions, constantly! lol We all walked away with the knowledge needed to potentially save a child's life, the best $60.00 investment I've ever made! Thanks again, I will be recommending your service to people I know.
One of the mums used her skills she learnt in your course the other day, she saved a boy choking on an apple in the post office. Thanks again.
Brionhy I just wanted to give you guys a huge Thank-you for the session you did in Berwick this week. Have had wonderful feedback from participants and feel much more confident in handling any potential emergencies with my lil ones. Thanks again for providing an incredibly valuable service delivered in a very basic manner and for a very small fee considering it may save a life one day. Thanks again ladies, was a pleasure to meet you and look forward to meeting again soon for the advanced course.
When I put out the call to my friends to understand who might be interested in this course, I got an overwhelming response. It seems that many parents and carers intended to do this, but never quite got around to it. So to a full house, the team at KidzAid presented and the overwhelming response was glowing, particularly that the presenters came from a perspective of ICU neonatal and ED paediatric care. The team were particularly supportive to me as an organiser in the administration side of things also. I would strongly recommend this course to any parents, parent-to-be, carers, grandparents etc.
We had Andy come to a home session and we highly recommend KidzAid courses, he was a pleasure to have in my home and we all go SO much out of this and there so so much we didn’t realise either. Andy was very easy to understand and he also showed us the correct way to do things on Annie & LJ (dollies) and we all got to have a turn to ensure that we were doing it the correct way. Thank you again Andy & Bri.
I organised for KidzAid to come to our mothers group in Williamstown recently. 15 Mum's & Dad's attended plus 8 babies. The session was thorough & informative and made us all feel more equipped to deal with any emergencies involving our precious bub's. The trainers are friendly and most certainly qualified to instruct in this area. It was easy to organise & enjoyed by all (even the babies!). Thanks.
Both my husband and I completed the 2-hour vital aid course on the weekend. We have both walked away feeling very confident in assisting a child, if ever need be in an emergency. We know that this course should be carried out by not just parents but everyone, our future is the children of today and we need them, so by educating yourself in aiding a child in an emergency you are keeping our future alive. This course was so educational and with hands on training and practice, we both feel privileged to have completed the course with such an amazing instructor and teacher, Well done Bri and an outstanding business. Thanks again Nicola and Matt.
AWESOME night - if ANYONE (and I recommend ANYONE who has contact with children) wishes to gain some life saving first aid/CPR knowledge for children, KidzAid are amazing! Gorgeous, professional girls who can come to you in the comfort of your own home.
Hi, I just wanted to say a big thank you to KidzAid for being an absolute pleasure to deal with in organising the Advanced Aid course to be held at my home. Katrina was lovely, knowledgeable and happy to answer all of our questions on the day. Everyone got a lot out of the day - can highly recommend. Thank you.
Definitely something you have to do. We did it last weekend with all the mums in the playgroup and we involve our husbands/partners. So many things to learn and update and at the end of the day, this will help us everywhere we go with everyone around. I will recommend KidzAid course 100%. Thank you so much.
Crisis can be scary but now I feel more confident that I’d know what to do…Thinking about something going wrong with my now 5 month old is something that I have tried not to do since her birth. There had always been a nagging sense of her vulnerability and my lack of being equipped to act with any knowledge in a medical emergency. After completing the Vital Aid course, I still don’t like thinking about her being unwell, but I feel much more confident and relaxed knowing what to do if ever she did need me.
The information was clear, easy to understand and if your a hands-on learner like me, there was plenty of opportunity for practise. The trainers were extremely flexible and helpful making it possible to do the course with my Mum’s group and our bubs present. And, Dad will be doing his training soon too! Thanks KidzAid.
KidzAid delivered a Vital Aid course at my home over the weekend for my extended family plus a couple of friends. We were pleasantly surprised at how engaging the presenter was, and having an actual ex-ER nurse/mum of 2 certainly meant she knew what she was talking about. The instructor was patient with our many questions, made sure everyone was following the content, and was great with my twin toddlers who insisted on ‘helping’ and trying to steal the CPR manikins. I’d definitely recommend Kidzaid first aid courses, and having them come to you is an added bonus
I organised a course group for family and friends in Melbourne with Kidzaid. Our trainer was a registered nurse and was very fun and knowledgeable. My family and friends were so grateful and happy to have completed the course. We all feel much more confident should the unavoidable happen. Very worthwhile course, would highly recommend for all parents/caretakers.
